Ms. Ault is a staff attorney on the Public Benefits Team. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Ault received the Ralph Abascal Fellowship and partnered with the Drug Policy Alliance. There she worked with community stakeholders to reduce drug possession penalties and reform police practices by implementing the country’s second Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program (“LEAD”) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Then, as a public defender, Ms. Ault battled the criminal justice system by providing direct services to low income community members charged with crimes. Outside of work, Ms. Ault enjoys traveling, music, and food.
