Mr. Sanchez joined the Center’s Education Team in 2016 to help address the constitutional insufficiency of New Mexico’s public education system. He has since drawn upon his extensive experience with consumer protection issues to address predatory lending practices in the state.
Prior to joining the Center, Mr. Sanchez practiced for over fifteen years in state and federal courts throughout the nation, representing consumers, investors and business and governmental entities in class action and whistleblower litigation. Additionally, Mr. Sanchez’s commitment to social justice has led him to the representation of individuals seeking political asylum and volunteer work on behalf of political activists.
Mr. Sanchez received his juris doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 2000 and his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in 1996.
